Our Story
Chris and Yvonne Smith birthed Vinelife Ministry out of a passion that has burned in their heart for 18 years to see believers living in true freedom in Christ. Yvonne has always had a desire to see God’s Children set free from a life of religious works and bondage to circumstances or behaviors into a life of love, hope and joy found only in Christ Jesus. In 2001, her dream to reach people with this life changing message became a reality as VineLife Ministry was born.
This place of freedom that Yvonne is so passionate about comes to us as we learn to live in a way that moves us from the religious mindset: “What must I do to earn God’s love?” to a gracious and grateful attitude that says, “My Father God already done it all for ME through His Love and His Son, Jesus!”
When we recognize our identity as His children He creates a desire in our hearts to live to please Him and obey His will because He loves us – not to earn His love in return. As we accept this truth, walking out a life of liberty we discover what it means to live from the Kingdom of God and His righteousness which adds all the other needs we may have in life to us – adding no sorrow to them. Yvonne travels and speaks to various ministries, schools, recovery centers and teen homes sharing the unconditional love and grace of our Father that Jesus through the Holy Spirit continues to make known. Many have realized freedom in Christ through her powerful testimony and sincere teaching. We will continue to seek freedom and restoration in every life God brings to us at VineLife Ministry until Jesus returns or God indeed calls us home. Our Mission
“Just as no branch can bear fruit of itself without abiding in (vitally united to) the vine, neither can you bear fruit unless you abide in Me. I AM the Vine, You are the branches, Whoever lives in Me and I in him bears much (abundant) fruit.” (AMP)
This passage is truly the heart behind VineLife Ministry! Yvonne’s heart is to see people vitally connected to the True Vine, Jesus Christ, living the abundant life He died to give them. He says that when we always dwell in Him, He always dwells in us. When we abide in Him He can have His way in and through us, that we fully become the vessels of honor He proclaims that we are – giving Him the all the glory!
